So I decided to goof around and make this with characters from my comic Loyalty & Liberty.
British uniforms changed A LOT, changed between companies let alone regiment-to-regiment!
I think people get confused on my comic pages that the main characters are Light Infantry so their coats are not full but coatees, aka a cut down coat so the turn back is sewn down.
Unlike 1775 British Marine Officer (Cpt.Sylver) turn backs are real turn backs so they need to be hooked together to stay up at all otherwise they would hang down like a civilian coat. (in theory to keep your legs warm)
I also wanted to upload this to show the difference in hairstyles, Clubbed, Pleaded, Queued and a Rat tail.
As well as the difference in headwear.
